Charles Hambleton – Activism, Technology and Art

Charles Hambleton is a master at combining those seemingly disparate pursuits. He was the associate producer of the Academy Award-winning documentary The Cove. As “director of clandestine operations,” he filmed the majority of the covert shots and incorporated thermal imaging in the movie. He documented British Petroleum’s oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico during the summer of 2010, and is associate producer of Green Planet Productions’ upcoming documentary The Big Fix.

Recorded at TEDxMaui 2012, held on January 22, 2012 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
