As our 2012 event gets closer (just days away!), and more community members purchase their tickets, we wanted to share with you some exciting info: the majority of our 2012 Speakers are on Twitter. Twitter is an excellent way to engage with each other, communicate and share ideas quickly via your phone, computer, or other digital device…in 140 characters or less.
We’re going to be ramping up our own social media efforts at @TEDxMaui (using event hashtags #TEDxMaui2012 and the general #TEDx hashtag), and we’ll be “tagging” many of our speakers along the way.
The TEDxMaui team is really excited as we turn the corner to the countdown, and a few of us are available on Twitter if you’d like to strike up a conversation:
Katie McMillan, Co-producer: @katiemac
Sara Tekula, Co-producer: @spectekula
Peter Liu, Social Media for TEDxMaui: @peterliu47
And here’s a handy “TEDxMaui 2012 Speakers on Twitter” list for you, so you can follow many of our speakers’ latest updates:

How can one possibly see all the speakers and is the schedule of times available for each person. It goes on all day, right?

Aloha Marilyn, The speaker presentations are held on the Castle Theater stage. You’ll see all of the speakers as long as you attend the event from start to finish. TEDx events are carefully curated and you luckily won’t have to choose between the speakers.
